It starts with a question I can’t leave alone: what does love look like when two people bring every wound, contradiction, desire, and defense mechanism into the room with them? I write psychological romance about people who feel too much, want too deeply, and rarely arrive at love untouched. My stories live in the space between desire and damage, where family history follows you into adulthood, survival becomes instinct, and being truly known can feel almost as terrifying as being left. There is still heat. There is still escapism. There are fast cars, impossible chemistry, sharp mouths, questionable decisions, and men who have absolutely no business being that attractive while emotionally unraveling. But underneath it all, I’m interested in why people love the way they do. Margot Voss is the name I write under now. Some readers first found my books when I published as Caitlyn P. Tajon, but the heart of the work has always been the same: emotionally complicated people choosing love when choosing each other would be easier to avoid.

what's next: bad faith, sins of the bloodline #2

Marco and Ivy were never supposed to become the story. And yet here we are. Bloodline opened the door to a world built on inheritance, power, family loyalty, and the things people will sacrifice to survive the lives chosen for them. Their story continues from here, getting messier, darker, more intimate, and considerably harder for either of them to pretend is temporary. Next comes Bad Faith, where promises made long before Marco and Ivy understood what they meant begin collecting their debts. Expect complicated family systems. Public narratives that don’t match private truth. Mental health explored with bite. Desire colliding with obligation. Betrayals that may look very different depending on who is telling the story. And two people discovering that sometimes the most dangerous thing you can do is let someone understand you completely.

LOVE STORIES WITH SOMETHING UNDER THE SKIN.

I’m Margot Voss, author of psychological romance for readers who want more than chemistry.

I write love stories about attachment, grief, identity, family, mental health, ambition, survival, and all the strange little ways our pasts teach us how to give and receive love. Sometimes those stories unfold at two hundred miles per hour. Sometimes they begin with an arrangement neither person understands. Sometimes the person who gets beneath your skin is exactly the person you were never supposed to need.

They are also unapologetically romantic.

There is yearning. There is sex. There are terrible decisions made for extremely understandable reasons. There are women allowed to be complicated, angry, ambitious, sexual, soft, difficult, brilliant, frightened, and entirely human. There are men whose emotional lives matter just as much as their ability to make a reader lose her damn mind.

Because romance doesn’t become less romantic when we examine it closely.

It becomes more intimate.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually somewhere between books, branding, content strategy, Formula 1, an unnecessary deep dive, and whatever has captured my brain that week. I’m a wife, a mom to one spectacular little girl, and someone endlessly fascinated by the stories people tell about themselves and the ones they’re afraid might actually be true.

So come in. Stay awhile.

There’s probably coffee nearby. Possibly wine. Almost certainly a fictional man making a catastrophically emotional decision somewhere.

Welcome to psychological romance.
